The purpose of this study was to determine and compare the Vertebral Heart Size (VHS) Cardio-Thoracic Rate (CTR) in normal Wistar Rats. size organs chest cavity heart can be measured by taking thorax radiographs. Thorax radiographs 85 male rats were taken under anesthesia, VHS CTR calculated digital environment. mean 7.22 mm right lateral position 7.34 left position. In radiography ventrodorsal (P = 0.3530), as 0.89 mm. Also, no significant correlation between CTR. conclusion, our results reference values, previous has been found for rats.
